This was such a cute series. I would reread them all honestly. If you’ve read “The One” by John Marrs this book made me think that this is how people who are each others “one” connect the first time they see each other. Then the rest of the book is figuring out the stuff that goes beyond that immediate attraction to see if you can make it work. There wasn’t anything that was a major trauma, it was two normal people trying to navigate through the normal hurdles of getting into a relationship and it was kind of refreshing. Seems like in so many novels the characters are just so messed up and that’s what creates the hurdles to the relationship. This one was more relatable.
