Crodor the Ancient by Celia Risho, Ephie Risho
adventurous
3.75
Crodor The Ancient is an excellent second instalment to The Elementalists series. Phoenix Rising had Amber meet Theo and Basil, and through their adventures, they discovered they had powers and were potentially part of a prophecy.
In Crodor The Ancient, we see these characters grow and learn more about their powers. They also meet some new friends as well as catch up with some old ones.
Whilst reading this, I kept thinking how this reminded me of a dungeons and dragons game with all the encounters. It's a great read, and I'm glad Amber was able to realise how capable she is.
I cannot wait to continue with the Elementalist series in the next book. 100% recommend this fantasy series to younger readers and I will be reading it to my two little ones when they get a bit older.
