I had serious difficulty with this book. I knew I was losing my enjoyment in the series, but I seriously considered setting everything aside during this one. I will read the last one to see how it ends.

Who the author has revealed Ryder to be is not someone that I think deserves a happy ending. And while I appreciate the occasional dark hero, alpha male, there is a very thin line between dark alpha male, and emotionally abusive d*ck.
