The Book Thief by Markus Zusak

5.0

I can't remember how long it has been since I've read a book this evocative of sheer imagery. From the very first page to the very final notes, the world of Molching and Liesel Meminger come vividly alive in my mind. It really is all about the colours, and I have a feeling Death would agree.

I can probably wax on and on about this book, but all I'd probably like to say at this time is that it's worth the read. Zusak has a gift of storytelling unlike anything I've experienced before. If you haven't read this book, I'd recommend rectifying that immediately
