Mad Honey is a great read for someone who wants to explore the idea of self criticism and recognition of privilege without reading something as confronting as CRT books. The story is well paced and provides the opportunity for women to be the focus in a genre which usually focuses on men. This novel also was incredibly well written in regards to transgender Identity and the experiences/questions that transgender people ask themselves. Overall not the best book in the world which will change your life, but a great read well worth your time.
