The first half of this book felt like it was written by AI. It just seemed random and pointless. The way their relationship begins seemed forced and unbelievable. It got much more interesting toward the end, but I kept being taken out of the story by the weird way it was written. The messages and email were worded so bizarrely. It wasn’t believable that someone would write a casual email that reads like an excerpt from a book. I wish it was written like diary or journal entries instead.
