The following of the Queen’s life was interesting and was largely chronological. The book was let down in that it was almost completely a positive review of the Queen. Mistakes or missteps were mentioned but largely glossed over or explained away. No one is perfect and the book would have benefitted from more consideration of the things that didn’t work as much as those that did.
