Tommy and Tuppence return to run a detective agency in their typical entertaining style.

“I can look after her all right, sir," said Tommy, at exactly the same minute as Tuppence said, "I can take care of myself.”

Young married couple T & T are tasked to front a detective agency, and they solve numerous cases, using the styles of classic detectives as they solve the investigations. For example, notable detectives like Sherlock Holmes and AC's own Hercule Poirot are involved.

"If you must be Sherlock Holmes," she observed, "I'll get you a nice little syringe and a bottle labelled Cocaine, but for God's sake leave that violin alone.”

Audiobook notes: Who knew Hugh Fraser would have the perfect voice for a drunk guy?
