Otherworld by Jason Segel, Kirsten Miller

5.0

That’s how Otherworld traps you. It introduces you to sensations you’d never be able to feel in real life. You discover what’s been missing—because it’s taboo or illegal or because you lack the guts to do it for real. And when you find out what’s missing it’s almost impossible to let it go again.

Otherworld (#1 Otherworld) revolves around the story of a gamer, Simon who is lured into the deadly game of Otherworld to save his childhood sweetheart and best friend Kat. Kat, is unfortunately sucked into the game when a mishap happens and she loses her ability to move.

But the catch is once you enter the world/the game you are projected into the game physically too. What happens if you get killed in the game? WILL YOU SURVIVE IN REAL LIFE? HOW WILL SIMON FIND HIS EXIT?

Pick up this book to delve into a super engrossing adventure of gaming and reality, life and death.

The authors have done an exceptional job in building up the characters with the adequate amount of back story. The main character Simon and Gorog, the orge being my favorite.

With a vivid description of the gaming world and equally crafted visualisation of the reality, Jason Segel and Kristin Miller creates this lucrative book"Otherworld" intermixing both the worlds.

I loved the fact that the scenes were well thought out and not stuffed with too much details that would have killed my curiosity.

The unstoppable action and all the plot twists keeps you constantly on the edge.

To wrap up, this review this book is one of my best reads of the year.

Can't wait for the next book that releases this Autumn 2019.
