Because I'm a teenage girl inside, I started watching the television show. Then, of course, I had to read the books. This would be a great beach/plane read. The girls are definitely more interesting in the books - and they're also more nuanced, I guess. They're worse people than portrayed on the show.

I have the second book on hold at the library because now I must read all of the books.
