Brandon Mills versus the V-Card by Lisa Henry, J.A. Rock

4.0

I really enjoyed this one, although I don't think it quite lived up to book 1. Which I now HAVE to reread!

This is the story of Brandon, Mark's sweet friend that we met in book 1, who was abused by a teacher as a child. Brandon is still dealing with the aftereffect of this abuse, and so this book was not nearly as sexy as book 1, and had no kink, but I didn't really miss that part. It felt more natural to the story for the sexy times to have to wait for Brandon to deal a bit. When the book starts, Brandon can't even stand to be touched without flinching, but he still finds himself drawn to Alex, the cute freshman who's rushing his frat.

I thought Alex was just adorable, and it was great seeing Mark (love him, he's one of my very favorite book guys EVER) and Deacon again, and Blake, how many ways do I love thee, Blake! But are we ever going to find out what Jordan's Jackson's (this is why we need sleep people!) deal is? It's like he's a jerk, but he's a nice guy, but he's a jerk.
