The Girl Who Speaks Bear
by Sophie Anderson
I LOVED this book! Recommended by a librarian for my daughter, she was frightened by some of the animal violence and asked me to read it first. So I did. It is spiritual, and forgiving. A tale about friendship, and family, about asking for help and finding your own way and allowing others to do the same. I dont want to spoil anything, so I can't say more than that the fantasy and language marry here for a provocative story about growing into who you are meant to be -whoever that may be- with kindness and an open mind.
