Attack on Titan, Volume 17 by Hajime Isayama

Loved this volume!

We got to see how Rod Reiss turned out and how that affected Historia. She has grown so much as a person in her own right, both mentally and socially. I thought initially she was a snivelling girl but now she is a full on strong woman in this tough world.

Eren is developing and I feel like he has gotten a lot more mature which is nice to see. I’m excited to see how the story elements relating to him develop.

The story is going in an interesting direction. I feel like it’s wrapped up nicely and could have ended in 4-5 volumes pending wrapping up loose ends (not that I would want it to) but now the ending of this volume has opened it all up again. Can’t wait to see where this all goes!
