"If we have too many possessions, we do not possess them; they possess us."

This is my first non-fiction/self-help book and it didn't disappoint! I love the messages, the reminders, and the art! I'm honestly so glad that I have the physical copy in paperback of this book because I honestly can't imagine reading a self-help book in digital; I annotate on my books so this is such a plus for me!

I bought this book quite a while ago because I've heard many good things and I mean, LOOK AT THAT COVER!!! But, I'm truly amazed by how much I agree with the things Haemin Sunim talks about! To be honest, some parts are just reminders for me but it's a compliment so 👍🏻 However, I'm so sorry but I can't rate this a solid 5 ⭐ (I'm rounding it up here) because there are some parts that just don't align with my belief; this was Buddhist-heavy book.

But overall, this was a brilliant book and there are so many things/quotes that feel like a stab in the chest because I found myself constantly saying 'Damn' 'I- I- I'm speechless' 'This is so true!' and many more. So, I would definitely recommend this book for everyone to start exploring the self-help genre. Or if you just want a good book that you can get back to anytime and honestly just jump from pages to pages.
