A slow slog through the first 7-8 chapters, but once the action hits, prepare for Alex to hit back with interest! It took a while for me to warm up to Alex but by the end I was firmly in her corner, and would follow her story to the depths of hell, literally... I think there’s a lot of room for growth within Alex and am cautiously hopeful that this isn’t the last we see of Darlington (who I absolutely love btw). Really looking forward to the next installment; I think this’ll be one of those series that grows on you. Fingers crossed
