This is my first Book in the Pennyroyal Green series and I think I’ll be hooked. I ended up really enjoying this one.
Tansy comes off as somewhat unlikable… but that’s kind of part of her charm? Like she never outgrew that time in 7th grade when we thought attention from boys was the best thing ever. But she’s also vulnerable and has had a rough go of it.
Ian is a (former?) playboy. He wants to find himself while traveling the world (same, Mr. Eversea, same). He’s made out to be something of a rake but honestly, he was on his best behavior in this book.
I really enjoyed seeing their relationship grow. I liked how when they were in public Ian was so frustrated with her but any time spent together just the two of them brought them closer together and you could just see the love blooming.
This was so fun and I can’t wait to continue the series.
