Will this book win awards? No. The writing was okay but not mind-blowing, characterization was good but not excellent, the plot's not very original either. But it is the kind of book that's fun, engaging and super hard to put down. And sometimes, these are the best kind of books. I don't need literary writings, I'm here for some fun. I love the world and Scwab's style of storyline a writing is great as usual. There's some kind of dark tone in her stories that I really love. I love the interaction between August and Kate and I'm so excited to see what the next book will bring.
