Overall rating: 4/5
Writing: 4/5, It's good but nothing outstanding. She is reliable.
Plot: 5/5, good whodunit, I enjoyed the mystery a lot. The romance is standard
Characters: 3/5, Again these are formulaic romantic suspense, the characters mostly have one big defining moment that is discussed and the basis of their personality. They're fun but a bit cookie-cutter.

Would I reread?: Probably not, just because these are my easy guilty pleasure books, so when I'm in the mood or need a palette cleanser I grab a new book of hers. Her Vampire Alliance series I have reread but with the Krewe, you might as well just grab a new one rather than reread.

POV: 3rd person limited
Genre: Romantic Paranormal Suspense, Romantic Paranormal Mystery, PNR
Pace: Fast-Paced, her books go pretty fast with the mystery and the romance.
Tone: Fun, mysterious
Storyline: These are more plot-driven than character I would say, locked door mystery is the main plot
Themes: revenge, romance, mystery, movie sets, hollywood
Writing style: Simple and to the point, focus on a well-plotted mystery
Book Appeal: Great for a cozy paranormal mystery read. I love these when I'm in the mood to zone out with a book a little. It still keeps you guessing, but is fun and easy to read.
Type: Standalone Series #6 of Krewe of Hunters, They can be alone or in order. They go in about 4-6 book larger arcs of the teams. This is the 2nd book of the 2nd team. You can bounce around and still enjoy them.

Content Warnings:
death (on-page a little graphic), cancer death, betrayal

Was the Blurb/Genre Accurate: Yes
