The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams

4.0

Going into this I knew the rough premise of the book so all the chaos and the confusion was expected and every bit as hectic as I thought it would be! I can imagine reading this as a child and having it form the basis of a book lover hobby.

Also this book FEELS like a book. It provides the escapism and the wonder and the craft of a world so similar to ours but so peculiar. Is almost like 'hey... this could be real u know?'

The only reason it lost a star is because I found it difficult to read on ebook - I switched to audiobook halfway and enjoyed it so much more! I wish I had done it sooner.

As much as I loved it, I don't think I love it enough to sit through the rest of the series 🤭
