The Good Guy by Dean Koontz
4.0

A killer for hire. A case of mistaken indentity and a cat and mouse chase w/ a bit of intrigue to keep you reading. I like the Dean Koontz novels where the "ordinary" main characters turn out to have some hidden strength to get them through a night (or few) of terror. I guess that's basically alot of Koontz' books. But I also like when the threat is non-human A killer w/ physco issues don't appeal to me as much as a lab created or voodoo inpsired creature of the night. I guess b/c even with fiction there's only so many ways you can bend a man's mind before even he seems unbelievable and not the least bit scary.

Overall I liked the connection between the 2 main characters Linda and Tim. They seemed like, if in real life they had to run, they'd make a good on the run couple. I was interested enough to finish this book in about 2 days. Not my favorite DK book but I was anticipating reading it since I read about it a few months ago and my curiousity was quenched.
