Assassin's Creed: Renaissance by Oliver Bowden
3.0
This book was a very interesting read. I have never played the Assassin's Creed games but I did recently go to see the film; that was what attracted me to the book. It was a very easy read; nothing too heavy or difficult.
The main character is Ezio; a young man in Italy 1472 about to learn the secrets of a guild of assassins. He is a pretty badass character who shows some pretty good development through the book. Setting off an adventure and finding out that a whole chain of events has been set off from his actions.
There are secondary characters but I didn't really find them as fun as the main character so not noteworthy to me.
The storyline is easy and does not require a great deal of thinking about which is great :) and the pacing is pretty good leaving off on a cliffhanger keeping readers interested to continue reading the rest of this series.
3.5 stars a really good easy read.
