I am still crying.

"This hurts too much to touch with words."

I knew what was coming, and when it happened I still wasn't ready. This has been one of my slowest reads in a while because I didn't want it to end, so I was rationing it for myself. Fredrik Backman is my favourite author, he has yet to write something that hasn't made me cry, I think it's because of the way he is able to fully capture the likeness of real people; they aren't just three dimensional characters, they are real people - even the minor characters.

Benji now officially stands as my favourite character ever written in fiction.

Will read again, with wine, tissues, and ice cream.
