This was a complete slam dunk for me and I was only sorry it took me so long to pick it up. It had all the components of a Jenny Colgan that I loved - multiple strands of plot elegantly woven together, a vividly drawn community of characters and a fish out of water protagonist who builds a solid and fulfilling life in her new community. The setting of Tuga is truly so brilliantly depicted, I could almost feel the sun on my face, in mid December. Will be recommending to everyone and also pre ordering the sequel ahead of release next year. Delightful!!!
