Dark romance, paranormal shifting, and of course spice that matches. Found the protagonist to be like-able but the main love interest, specifically the way he treats the FMC’s trauma was not for me. It was patched up by saying he didn’t know it was so recent and while he owns the fact that he should have asked questions sooner, it seemed forced.  If you’re not a fan of miscommunication tropes this is not the book for you. Redemption for it could be found in the way she is able to heal from her trauma and take her revenge by the end of the book.
