The Love of My Life
by Rosie Walsh
#hillzshelf March read (I think? I’m so sorry time has been a blur atm).
It is funny how books find you at certain times of your life, giving you what you didn’t know you needed. Now this isn’t like an “OMG you have GOT to read this book” but if you picked it up I wouldn’t tell you to put it back down. Confusing and slow to start, great twist to keep you interested a little messy timeline at times.
Overall the message I got is to forgive yourself and just be honest, a lot of things E could’ve avoided had she just faced the truth. I can’t imagine hiding like that for so long. Regardless decent read and good timing for me. As always bookclub keeps me going when I struggle reading!
**music I listened to while reading, the “From Scratch” playlist on Spotify. Idk why but it was fitting imo
