This was such a fun story set in a small pueblo (village) in the middle of nowhere full of latinx culture and blood-thirsty vampiros.
Carolina Fuentes wants to protect her family, even if that isn't "appropriate" for a woman.
Lalo Villalobos wants to protect what's left of his family, even if it's from himself.
So just what happens when a reluctant vampiro and a fiery vampiro huntress collide? Amusing banter and entertaining shenanigans for sure! Full of Latinx culture, strong females, adventure and some family legends, this was such a fun story to get wrapped up in.
The story is told from both Carolina and Lalo's POV and will possibly give you cravings for tamales.
Strongly recommend!
