What is your all time favorite romance book that hit you with all the feels?

I’ve just finished my copy given to me by Chloe at sunnybabepr of and what a beautifully emotional read.

This book had me giggling and crying and giggling and crying some more. The year just started and this for sure will be one of my top reads of 2024.

How beautiful is it when two broken people find each other and something magical happens to make them both whole together?

I read this a little backwards honestly, so this book kinda off goes off of Larissa’s first book In Our Hands but both can be read as a standalone. However, for the best reading experience reading book one is recommended.

I plan to dive into book one soon and share what my reading experience is like doing it that way in my review for that.
✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨

Now let’s dive into the real review.

Let’s remember I did not read In our Hands first so I had no idea what to expect when going into this book.

I was genuinely not prepared for the beauty of Amelia and Deans story at all. The trauma rep on Amelia’s end was entirely too close to home for me which made this book so much more lovable for me. Deans was close to home too in a way for me I guess.

From the moment she was introduced I loved Amelia’s energy. Her internal monologue was the best thing ever. Including her talks with her cat Beatrice lol.

Reading books like this really tug at something in my heart. Knowing how common a lot of my own issues are, my own anxiety, my own panic attacks, my own trauma responses.

The fact that these two broken and beaten people’s made magic happen with each other is enough for me to keep every ounce of hope I have that someone will come along and love me enough to ground me when things from my past resurface and cause me to self destruct.

I’ve spoken to Larissa about my accidental reading order and she asked I share with her my reader experience reading it out of order the way I am. It’s funny because I see a lot of people saying she worked magic making dean likeable. Most people came into this not liking dean. At the beginning of the book I did not like Otis or Evelyn but they grew on me at the very very end.

This is already going in my top reads of 2024 list. I am emotional about this one. Just read it ok
