After reading Hooked I was so thrilled to read this series. But then I had Scarred in my hand and tried to avoid reading it. But after the release of Twisted I had to read those books. I really had to slap in my face for avoiding it. because OMG McIntire read such a great book.
I don't know what it is which you guys, but I had this relationship with female characters (in which I want to murder them because they are either so annoying or whatever) but McIntire did it the fourth time to find Sara likeable. And the relationship with Tristan was more than anyone could tell.
As for the plot: The Lion King wasn't really something that was my favourite one or Scar was my favourite Villain of all time (because that are Hades, Ursula and Izma) but the plot was amazing and well written. I'm really so hyped for this series. Oh and I'm in love with this enemies to lovers vibe.
And not to forget that the rightful heir get his throne *-*. Long Live the King.
Tristan, Sara and Emily just make it a beautiful and amazing work. (And I'm one that didn't give really easy 5 Stars, but in my eyes Scarred is a masterpiece by an amazing author - btw it was the 6th book I read from her)
