Come Closer by Sara Gran

The first book of its kind for me. Is this paranormal horror or psychological thriller? Who knows? The narrator is unreliable.

This is relatively fast-paced; a lot happens in just under 200 pages. Each page is full of suspense, making you want more. I imagine if I picked this up on a weekend day, I would have burned through it in one sitting, but alas, I must work. Sidenote: This could be a good airport book as there are many short scenes, making it a great one if you need to take frequent breaks.

A few places got almost too spooky, but seeing it through the narrator's eyes made it tolerable, even for someone like me, who is a scaredy cat when it comes to horror. This is it if you're looking for a quick, spooky read!
