It's a fun and silly historical fiction featuring pirates and witches. It's not my typical genre (ie: heterosexual romance) but it was pretty fun, especially as I've never read any of the classic novels that the MC references throughout.

Unrelated but I'd didn't realise that this was a sequel and not a stand alone, which does explain some of my initial confusion.
