The Wife Upstairs – 3.25 stars
I know this won’t be a popular opinion, but this one just didn’t do it for me.
I love a good twist, but this felt less like a thriller and more like driving around and around a roundabout. Same scenery, same drama, same nonsense. After a while, I wasn’t intrigued, I was dizzy and over it.
And then there’s the ending. I don’t need everything tied up in a perfect little bow, but this one felt like the ribbon snapped and all the loose ends just scattered to the floor. Instead of that satisfying click of a puzzle piece, I was left with question marks and a “wait, that’s it?”
By the end, I didn’t want answers, I just wanted out.
