Sister Dear by Hannah Mary McKinnon

5.0

Oh Eleanor, she has always been the black sheep of her family. That is except for with her dad, who has cancer and who is in hospice. She drops in and overhears a conversation with her mom and dad discussing her dads will and her mom insisting that he should leave all his minimal inheritance to his real daughter, Amy. Eleanor learns she is not his biological daughter! She goes in causes a scene and quickly rushes out after her dad has a medical emergency and her mom blames her. It’s not until the next day that she finds out her dad passed and provided a name for the doctor to pass along to Eleanor.

She snoops and follows her biological dad and family and even meets her biological father. After he quickly refuses to have anything to do with her and warns her to stay away from him and his family. She still snoops, she is in desperate need of a family. She secretly befriends her half sister, yet doesn’t tell her who she is.

A disaster from her lies and secrecy is a given to happen, but it’s nothing what you will be thinking. The twist is incredible!!
