Witchfished
by E.F. Watson
“Reading is the only thing that allows me a reprieve from the chaos of existence.”
Are you looking for a cozy little paranormal mystery read that has some spice to it? Well I got just the book for you. It’s a novella so it is short and sweet but definitely has some a little spice
This was a freaking cute, cozy little paranormal mystery romance novella that I literally read in one sitting. It has a strong witch FMC, a broody werewolf, delectable banter, and some spice.
I truly loved the enemies to lovers feels between Enoki and Rex, I loved how grumpy and sarcastic the white German Shepherd Amity, Enoki’s familiar was, and I loved how bubbly and youthful Anita, Rex’s little sitter was. And can’t forget I really enjoyed the vampire forensic investigator Cal who rolls into town.
PS, I love the name Enoki
The title Witchfished is Perfect (IFYKYK) I got giddy when I understood the title of this novella and it made me swoon and fall more in love with this book.
I loved the romantic tension, the banter, and the idea behind the storyline. My only complaint would be that I wish it was a full-length novel.
