Dragon Queens by Kathleen de Plume

It's been a while since I read something as steamy as this. I mean, sure a lot of books that I've read in the past year or so have had their fair share of sex scenes but none of them have turned me on quite as much as this. You know the sex is good when it starts to trigger my dysphoria, you know? It really helps that the two main characters have some really good chemistry going on with them, and that there's a lot of buildup between the two. It starts out as a fauxmance (a word I just learned by reading the reviews) where the two leads have to pretend to be madly in love with each other, while pretending that they're only doing this for political reasons, but really they're just hot for each other while thinking the other is only doing it for political reasons. There's real tension in that as they slowly spiral together each in denial of their own and each other's feelings until they explosively crash together..... in a bath. There's lots of baths in this book. Some of the reviews didn't like the fauxmance part of it but I thought it was cute.
