honestly i don’t know how i feel about this book i can’t tell if i like it or if i don’t, however for some reason i felt compelled to read the second book, not sure why because the plot itself didn’t really interest me. I just feel like after Mae and Styx met for the second time everything happened so fast between them, also she always mentions her friendship with Rider but we didn’t really get to see that happen so to me it didn’t really hold any appeal, i just felt like all the relationships here were very shallow, i don’t really read dark romance books so i don’t know if that’s part of the genre and it usually goes that way, but i enjoy well built and deep relationships between the characters. Also make sure to read the TWs before reading because it’s a pretty heavy read and we get very graphic and detailed scenes from the main character’s past that can be tough to get through. Nonetheless i guess i am curious enough to read the second book just to see how it goes!
