Southern Storm by Natasha Madison

Emotionally intense

Book 3 of The Southern series picks up where book 2 ended, so definitely read this series from the beginning!

Savannah was a character I initially despised, but by the end of book 2 I was willing to give her a chance. She has been through so much and had few people to show her any love or support, definitely not her mother. Her childhood best friends - Jacob and Beau have always been her support system, but the Beau learns the secret about who fathered her son. After he doesn’t react very well to the shocking news, he quickly backtracks to support the woman he has loved for years.

Savannah is in danger, and as Beau continues to stand by her and defend her against his father’s machinations the danger increases.

This book ends on a cliffhanger in the final epilogue that brings us full circle to the secret of Ethan’s paternity. I can’t wait to read Book 4.
