Did not finish book. Stopped at 17%.

I'm trying to DNF more books so I can raise my star average in the next year. I got 70 pages into this and while it was not bad, I was not also invested by page 70. There's a lot of detail in the world, magic, and other systems that are complex and it doesn't ease you into this complexity through story and character in a way that resonates with me so I'm moving on.
