Come Closer
by Sara Gran
dark
mysterious
tense
fast-paced
Successful architect and wife, Amanda, has started to hear unidentifiable noises in her apartment…a desire to injure those close to her…
At night she dreams of this beautiful woman with long black hair and pointed teeth, who pushes Amanda into becoming friends. From there, Amanda’s world is turned upside down.
It’s the 20-year anniversary of Sara Gran’s thriller, “Come Closer” and even though I didn’t read it 20 years ago, this story had me turning pages so fast and kept my jaw dropping!
I will say there were a couple parts of the story with language I didn’t particularly care for, but overall, it was a scary read!
Thank you so much to @soho_press and @this_is_edelweiss for providing me with an advanced copy of the re-release!
