I am happy to have found a new series.
However, I hope this series improves. I was annoyed at how naive this main character was (at times frankly a little dumb), and the romantic relationship between the DS and DI was unbelievable. Why do authors assume readers want romance in a police thriller.
I will give the 2nd book a try, hoping to see Anna mature…if she remains this naive, I'll give up on the series.
