I’ve watched the movie The Maltese Falcon multiple times, but outside of Humphrey Bogart’s perfect portrayal of Sam Spade, I’ve never cared for it - the plot seemed convoluted and contrived, to say nothing of the dialogue. But somehow it works infinitely better for me in written form. So glad I gave it a chance!
