Initial impression: 4 stars, upon reflection: 3 stars. I felt pretty badly for Alicia, to be honest. She's spent her whole existence being screwed over by the men in her life, and in the end, she's literally left comatose. And the story seemed just as much about Theo as it was about Alicia. meh. Bumping this down to 3 stars.
