Into the Darkest Corner by Elizabeth Haynes
5.0

This book is absolutely amazing.Lets start by saying ,this book was intense, and insanely brutal!Elizabeth Haynes sucks the reader into the book but making us worry for Catherine's safety.

Following the life of Catherine in two different story lines, four years apart - The audience experiences every obsessive thought, every anxious breath, every frustrating misfortune.

As the book progress further, the reader start to realize what causes the trauma and why the character is the way she is.

Basically it is about an abusive relationship. it slowly unfolds how destructive the relationship really is. it started off really well then progressively, how the “bad guy” treats her badly and how he treats her nicely afterwards and all sorts of conflicting emotions running through the characters’ minds. it is quite messed up along the way but that is what makes it interesting and keeps me captivated.

I was really fearing for her life. It started to make me upset that no one would believe her. That it was just her anxiety talking. But she knew the signs, she could see them, she tried her best to be as logical as possible, to not over react but the signs we’re becoming all to clear of Lee’s presence.
