This story is about a young girl navigating her new found sexuality while in school. However, there is some part of her past that continually pops up. When reading this it reminded me of how much self-discovery is done in college, how you’re navigating who you were with you are becoming, and finding your people.

The dialogue at some points had me cringing - it felt as if someone was trying to incorporate what they had read about gay people and just dumped it all in there.

Other than the dialogue being weak the story itself was good, I was hooked in, and it was a nice palate cleanser from the other books i’ve read this year.
