Much Ado About You by Samantha Young
4.0
Very cute romance!! It had everything I wanted: lovely English setting, a hot farmer with a heart of gold, an adorable dog, and a woman living in a bookstore. What a dream.
*ahem* Okay, in all seriousness: this book was fantastic. Evie gets the chance to live the dream and run a bookstore in a small English village for a few weeks. She gets to read Shakespeare while she works and sets her own hours-- literally my dream life. The love interest, Roane, is such a lovely person??? Possibly the most likable love interest I've ever read. He's just so good and yet there's still such chemistry between him and Evie from the get-go.
One of my favorite aspects of the book, though, were the side characters. They didn't pull focus from our mains, but they all had such rich histories and backstories-- they all felt like real people. And it definitely had that small-town feel, where you know everything about everybody.
Overall, it was such an adorable romance!! I definitely recommend it to just about anyone.
