Such an interesting concept for a novel and so well executed. Schwartz manages to bring the reader into the lives of these women in a way that is simple but effective, and the writing itself is gorgeous.
The ending is what really makes this book for me - Orlando is published and Lina is found, but it doesnt feel as though we have achieved true freedom, or even a grand sweeping conclusion. Despite the ending being open, and there to be expanded on by the reader, there is still closure. It really sits with you and I love it.
