Pip Bartlett's Guide to Magical Creatures by Jackson Pearce, Maggie Stiefvater

adventurous lighthearted fast-paced

3.0

Sort of fun, very silly, but definitely immature and prone to exaggeration. Will probably pass muster with young readers, but there’s not much appeal for anyone older (especially fans of Maggie). If you do pick it up, definitely go for a print copy to get a look at the illustrations. Didn’t love the audiobook, if it’d been longer than 4 hours I might have DNF’d. No plans to continue the series.
