uggghhhhhh. again, not very good. the book was so boring 90% of the time. i felt like i was reading the same thing as i read in caraval but from a different person's pov. this series is supposed to be good yet i am hating it. normally fantasy books i like so why does this series suck so much. ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ the plot was so boring and i would say pretty close to caraval and the challenges were not even that interesting. there were points in time when one or two pages would grab and hold my attention but that was it. i don't even think i was interested for one FULL chapter. the characters were plain and boring and i feel that they have no true personalities. there may have been points in time where i was interested in what the characters had to say but i don't like them. the only good thing about the book was when one character got introduced and i loved them, but of course they were hardly in the book therefore not really improving the book by much. I'm sorry for those who liked this book but i do not think it is worth reading. it was a waste of 6 days of my time really, and i can't believe there is another book. like i can see what there would be to write about but i don't think it could be that interesting. oh and the ending. What was that. i was not shocked at all. it was kinda expected. i was waiting and waiting for the reveal to be but no. a few words and then the book was over. no cliffhanger or shocking plot twist to even make me want to read the next book in the series. nothing. zipp. wow, Dante was the legend. i could not see that coming...... OF COURSE I SAW IT COMING. MOST BORING REVEAL EVER!!!! if she was not trying to figure out who was the legend the whole entire book, then maybe, maybe it would have been a bit better but because she was looking to find out who the legend was the whole book it made the reveal so boring and basic. and finding out Dante is filling in for the missing heir. wow. like i never saw that coming. so no, i was not shocked or surprised at all. not even a tiny bit and the romance, you cannot for the life of me, convince me that it was good romance. it sucked; it was so damn bad. i don't even think it was needed. like maybe it added a tiny bit of detail but i think the book could have gone without it. so anyway. did not like and was disappointed again.
