this collection felt less cohesive than others i have read, though the correlative stories about disappearing children and sex trafficking built really well to the stand out story (in my opinion). i liked the "children who come back" short story a lot more than others within this collection. heavy, heavy content though trigger warnings might just save your ass so make sure you read em'.
