SYNOPSIS:
Janie Hannagan is not your normal 17 year old girl. Sure she goes to high school, is not one of the popular kids, but you see Janie gets sucked into peoples dreams. She doesn't know why. It's been a gift she magically received when she turned 8 years old, or a curse as she calls it but is there something she can use this gift for something she couldn't have even dreamed about doing? She's about to find out.
REVIEW:
This book was SLOW and it hardly ever really picked up pace. Yes. It is a fast read. And No. It wasn't completely dull. There were some intense parts in this novel (which I don't want to spoil for you guys) and not mention a killer ending that gave it that extra star. It was even good enough that it made me want to pick up the next book because you want to know what happens next. There wasn't TO much of an external conflict going on, well not as much as within Janie herself. She doesn't want to be this THING that gets sucked into people's dreams. It prevents her from having a normal life, a life she wants. The struggle that Janie has within herself is what kept me from putting the book down. All in all it was an OK read but its that ending that really turned everything around for me, kinda like World War Z (the movie, haven't read the book).
