Korea: The Impossible Country: South Korea's Amazing Rise from the Ashes: The Inside Story of an Economic, Political and Cultural Phenomenon by Daniel Tudor

informative reflective medium-paced

3.0

Feels like a decent starting place for someone who doesn’t know much about the history of South Korea. However at less than 10 years old, it’s already very dated, especially where pop culture is concerned. The author (who is not Korean) also kept injecting his own opinions into the book, bringing up political arguments and debates and saying which side he thought was correct and what he thinks SK needs to do moving forward. That felt a bit weird.
